At MLC, we strive to create worship experiences which meet people where they are. From hymns and liturgy to contemporary praise and worship, we have just the right flavor for you! In each of our Sunday worship services, the theme and Pastor's message remain the same. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
8:00 a.m. - If you feel most connected to Jesus in a church setting that includes choral music, traditional hymns accompanied by organ or piano, scripture readers, and the familiar rhythm of liturgy, join us for our 8:00 a.m. traditional service.
9:30 a.m. - This service features elements of a traditional service, such as hymns, scripture readers, choir and organ, as well as incorporating elements found in a more contemporary service, such as a worship team and contemporary songs you may hear on the radio. Young or old, casual or dressed in your Sunday best, hymn singing or clapping your hands to the beat, come as you are!
11:00 a.m. - Join us for a blend of modern worship music and relevant Biblical teaching at this worship service. At this gathering, we encourage you to worship in whatever way helps you connect to God. Arms up or down, stand, sit, kneel in prayer, dance for you -- participate however the Holy Spirit moves you! During the summer (June-August) this service is held at the Anderson Dance Pavilion in Sioux City (Larsen Park Road), also known as Worship at the River.
2:00 p.m. - Our Multicultural Ministry began in 1997 and largely consists of Thai, Laotian, and Cambodian members. This service blends cultures and worship with its own unique flavor, featuring elements of both traditional and contemporary worship. Services are conducted in both Lao and English languages.
6:30 p.m. (Wednesday) - A 30 minute service that is geared toward all ages. Scripture, music, and themes will be appropriate for youth and adults.
