Morningside Lutheran Church exists to bring people into a relationship with Jesus Christ, which results in changing lives and a commitment to follow His example.
At MLC we strive to create worship experiences which meet people where they are. From hymns and liturgy to contemporary praise and worship, we have just the right flavor at MLC. In each of our Sunday worship services, the theme and pastor's message remain the same. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
TRADITIONAL 8:00 - If you feel most connected to Jesus in a church setting that includes choral music, traditional hymns accompanied by organ or piano, scripture readers, and the familiar rhythm of liturgy, join us for our 8:00am traditional service at Morningside. In each of our Sunday worship services, the theme and pastor's message remain the same. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
CELEBRATION 9:30 - service features elements of a traditional service, such as hymns, scripture readers, choir and organ, as well as incorporating elements found in a more contemporary service, such as a worship team and contemporary songs you may hear on the radio or iTunes. Young or old, casual or dressed in your Sunday best, hymn singing or clapping your hands to the beat, come as you are to worship!
CONTEMPORARY 11:00 - Join us for a blend of modern worship music and relevant Biblical teaching at our 11am contemporary worship service. At this gathering, we encourage you to worship in whatever way helps you connect to God. Arms up, arms down, stand, sit, kneel in prayer, dance for joy -- participate however the Holy Spirit moves you!
MULTICULTURAL 11:00 - Our Multicultural Ministry began in 1997 and largely consists of Thai, Laotian, and Cambodian members. The multicultural service blends cultures and worship with its own unique flavor. The multicultural service features elements of a traditional service, such as hymns, scripture readers, and piano, as well as incorporating elements found in a more contemporary service, such as a worship team and contemporary songs. Services are conducted in both Lao and English languages.
Whether within our church walls, down the street or on the other side of the globe, when you serve others in Jesus' name, you are ministering. It takes a team of people serving and ministering together to share the Gospel of Jesus each Sunday morning and throughout the week. Serving is a vital part of who God created us to be and what He calls us to do. We demonstrate the love of Jesus in our church by generously giving our resources, time, talents and energy to others. Through serving, you will find purpose, satisfaction, deeper relationships and joy! You can lean more about getting involved at MLC right here.
